1. Accommodation Fees are 80 € - there are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

2. Terms of payment: The total amount of accommodation has to be paid before student's arrival.

3. Cancellation conditions:

• If cancellation will be made more than 8 days before arrival, one week of accommodation has to be paid for
• If cancellation will be made less than 8 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount has to be paid for
• Any stay already started has to be paid for.

The student charter: Our host families welcome all students in compliance with our quality policy. We also expect students to adapt themselves and respect their host family. You will find all useful information in our student charter. We ask you to read, to sign and to send it back to the school BLS before your arrival.

For under 18 students, a parental discharge is obligatory to stay with a host family. We ask parents and children to sign the parental discharge of the school. This discharge has to be sent back to the school before the student's arrival. Underage students have to respect the hours as agreed on the charter. Any abusive behaviour disrespecting those rules may lead to an expulsion from the host family, without refund and under the parents responsibility.

Host families in Bordeaux

If you prefer the exchange and entire absorption in a French every day life, staying with a host family will come up to your expectations. In a nice ambiance you can practise and improve your French for an attractive price.

We carefully choose our host families and we strive to meet (as closely) the expectation of each (thank you for providing us with as much information as possible about your interests, your wishes ,...) . Whatever the age of members of our host families and whatever their social status, all they have in common is their sense of hospitality and friendliness.

Our families are situated from 5 to 35 minutes from our school. Usually each family welcomes one or several students with a different mother tongue. We can not guarantee this condition for summer.Arrivals and transfer at host families are on Sunday afternoon , from 2pm to 10 pm. If you arrive earlier or later , please contact BLS school.

The period of accommodation starts Sunday afternoon before first school day and ends Saturday morning after last school day.

REMINDER:

BLS can only commit to accommodation in host families according to availabilities. We strive to place students of different nationalities in one host family.

For those looking for some independence or staying in Bordeaux for a longer period, we strongly recommend you to stay in furnished , comfortable, convenient and equipped appartements for singles, couples or families.

Residence Ténéo : 25 minutes by tram from BLS

Located next to the Mainstation TGV Atlantique, the Quais of Garonne and 5 minutes from the city center of Bordeaux.

Studios and apartments, elegantly furnished, 1-4 persons, with kitchenette, bathroom, TV, telephone & cleaning service weekly. Towels and sheets provided. Parking: 8 € / day, 35 € / week 60 € / month

Daily tax: 0.35 € per night / person

Reception is open until 8PM during the week and until 6PM during weekends. In case you will arrive after 6PM please contact us one week before arrival.

Residence APART 'CITY *** : 15 minutes by tram from BLS

At the heart of the new business area involving major infrastructure and just few minutes from the historic center, Appart'City Bordeaux Centre is directly connected with economic, commercial and cultural activities of the city. Studio apartments for 1-4 people. Sofa bed or sofa bed for the studio. Double or twin beds (apartments). Kitchenette, bathroom and toilet, TV and telephone. Air conditioning. underground car park: 7 € day, 28 € / week, 90 € / month. Laundry services. Internet: 2 € / day or € 28.50 per month. Breakfast: 9 €.

Reception is open from Monday to Wednesday from 7Am to 12AM, from Thursday to Sunday from 7AM to 11PM.

City Résidence Les Chartrons***: 20 minutes walk from BLS/ + 10 minutes with bus

New residence located 100m from the Quai des Chartrons. Studios and apartments fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, telephone, flat screen TV, satellite TV, FREE WIFI. Air conditioning.

Deposit: 150€. Daily tax 1.10€ per person (subject to change). Breakfast : + 8.50€

150€ deposit (one month deposit required for stays of 3 months+). Parking  spaces are available on request (to be booked in advance at 5€ /night) .

Reception is open during the week from 8AM to 12PM and 3PM to 8PM, Saturday from 9AM to 12PM and 4PM to 8PM, Sunday and bank holiday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Reception open from 7AM to 10PM each day.

Located in the heart of the city, 2 minutes walk from Place Gambetta and from the historical centre of Bordeaux, facing the business district of Mériadeck.

Studios / apartments - fully equipped with kitchenette, bathroom (bath or shower), TV and telephone, safe (free) Wifi (contact us). More gym, Sauna, Hamam, indoor parking (13 € day), breakfast = 10€.

Teneo STUDENT: Summer offer (June-August): 15 to 20 minutes by tram from BLS

From studios to apartment, Ténéo Student is equipped to satisfy all your expectations. Each apartment allows students to have a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from specific services that make life easier every day (cleaning, linen hire, laundry self-service, covered parking and shut ...)

- Studio one person furnished, equipped with a kitchenette (ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, fridge), dishwasher, dining area, bathroom, toilet, wardrobe, cable TV (but no TV), telephone and the Internet. Intercom.

- Apartment 2 people furnished, equipped with a kitchenette (ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, fridge), dishwasher, dining area, bathroom, toilet, wardrobe, cable TV (but no TV), telephone and the Internet. Intercom.

Daily tax: € 0.35

* This service does not include hotel service from other types of residence (weekly cleaning, etc.).

Rates include water, Internet, electricity charges common and private, general maintenance of the residence.
Towels and bed is not included in the service, this means an extra 7 € / person.


These apartments are spread over two sites:

1) Student Ténéo University Bordeaux Centre and Victory Square in 10 minutes / 25 minutes by tram from BLS (take tram line B).
Residence located in the heart of the university complex of Bordeaux, close to shops and trams. Ideal for students.

2) Student Ténéo Médoquine: direct access to Bordeaux and BLS center by bus - 25 minutes

Residence located close to  Bordeaux university and 15 minutes from downtown (by bus line 4).

Accommodation in host family

a) The arrivals: arrivals take place on Sunday afternoon from 2PM to 10PM

The transport is provided by the host family. We ask each student to contact his host family within one week before the beginning of his stay and to give them his time of arrival. It is important to make sure that the family has the schedule (forwarding e-mail, telephone, etc) If the host family does not have the time of arrival they might be absent when you arrive and they just can welcome you from 6PM. Neither BLS nor the host family can be considered responsible for that.

b) Departures: Departures take place on Saturday morning before 2PM.

The transfer can be provided by the host family, in this case it is necessary to indicate that on your enrolment form from BLS, which will confirm that the transfer will be taken in charge. For any unconfirmed request, the transfer will be at the student's expenses.
